The roles, responsibilities, and expectations of Law Enforcement have drastically changed over the last decade. We understand the weight of the badge is heavier than its ever been. The bottom line is Officer Safety means that the immediate access to self or buddy care can mean the difference between life and death.

Additionally, as the role of Law Enforcement continues to evolve so have the expectations of the public. Whether it is an O.I.S., Active Shooter, or Cardiac Arrest, public expectation and perception now matter more than ever.

We are here to give you and your agency/department the tools you need to be confident in the worst situations:

Emergency Medical responder/academy LEO ems training

“Our agency’s Medical training was all over the board, we had guys that had no training and were a liability on calls, bringing the entire department up to EMR standard was the best solution to know that all of us were doing the right thing every time-i’m proud to say we now have a medical standard in our agency that exceeds even our states requirements”

-Captain R. Daniels Senior Training Officer Sheriff Academy

EMR training at your location with our MTT is the fastest way to get your team trained and certified in the basics of emergency medicine. While not as advanced as EMT and limited in the scope of interventions Emergency Medical Responders provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients who access the emergency medical services system. Tactical emergency casualty care (T.E.C.C)

“In over 15 years of Law enforcement and 3 military Deployments to Iraq, I have been through a lot of variants of care under fire, these guys were hands down the best, no egos, great delivery and in your face hands on live scenario training. This course is as important as range time is.

- L. Flanagan S.W.A.T

In the public safety training Industry there is a lot of “tactical talk”, The Raytom Group doesn’t talk we deliver results. TCCC (Military) or TECC (Law Enforcement) is an absolute for any entity looking to expand tactics and effectively Render Care Under Fire. With roots developed in evidence-based combat medicine, TECC presents the three phases of tactical casualty care and integrates nomenclature familiar to civilian EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement on how to effectively neutralize threats and render care under fire. Our goal within this training is to provide a high degree of fidelity in the replication of “real world/real example” using situations officers have historically faced, live actors, high fidelity props and professional moulage teams that participants become totally immersed and eventually stress inoculated creating a environment that can actually put to the test lessons learned. N.A.E.M.T onsite 1 or 2 day courses with or without range packages.

Rescue Task Force

“The Raytom Group cadre brought so much Public Safety Experience experience to the R.T.F course. We are a small but busy department and had never actually did intense joint training like this. We 100% feel we know are roles more clearly and god for bid we have to respond to this we will be ready”

- T. Jackson Chief Deputy Sheriff

RTF Hostile Event Interdiction course provides a unified response capability among Public Safety disciplines with proven tactics, techniques and procedures for a follow up response to a neutralized or mitigated hostile event. Once the threats are neutralized or contained, it is imperative to initialize Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to assess, treat and transport mass casualty victims. In Short, this course will show how all verticals of public safety come together and avoid costly mistakes.

active shooter/Single Officer Threat Response

“I took Raytom’s Active Shooter Course the same week the shooting happened in Texas, the cadre incorporated many of the real world issues that other departments face in dealing with these. The scenarios and environment felt real and the instructors went above and beyond to make sure we tactically trained through our mistakes. I really took a lot from this course and in my opinion courses like these need to be trained on monthly.”

- E. James Federal Officer

The Active Shooter threat has not only become more prevalent, but it has also transformed into a new dynamic. The Terror oriented Active Shooter threat. This new dynamic presents a far greater complexity, determination, motivation, and propensity for a much higher degree of damage and casualties. This course focuses on the individual officer necessary mindset, knowledge, and tactics to rapidly assess, dominate, and resolve the incident. Focusing on Rapid Deployment strategies for Active Shooter attacks, which require immediate action with minimal availability of back-up, resources, and specialized equipment in a civilian-populated environment such as the transit system, a school, shopping mall, hospital, office building, or an airport. 1-3 day onsite courses available.

Vulnerability Assessment/field training exercise (FTX)

“Our Department is full of young guys without a lot of tactical experience, we found some critical holes in the way we approached our scenarios and it all had to do how with how we had been incorrectly trained. Raytom guys worked us through it and were definitely better for it”

-F. Rocco Patrol Officer

The exact dictionary definition of a Vulnerability Assessment is: The process of identifying, quantifying, and prioritizing (or ranking) the vulnerabilities in a system. The Raytom Group will help to insure your agency is operating at its peak potential and ready for the tough days ahead. We can provide full discrete training sites, scenario planning and setup of live actors, high fidelity props and professional moulage teams. Teams participants become totally immersed and eventually stress inoculated in response to Mass Casualty Incidents, Active Shooter, Bomb threat scenario, or any crisis situation. Proctors will work with stakeholders on design, evaluation and recommendations for future sop/protocol changes.

Medical program build out

“We had over 150 officers with varying levels of training to contend with. The Raytom Group helped us through all of that by developing a clear-cut SOP for our officers deploying tactical medicine in the field they also advised us on medical direction for our department moving forward. We knew this is where we wanted to go- Raytom Got us there.”

- L. Brown Chief of Police

Deploying and monitoring medically trained officers can be an understandable concern for some agencies. The Raytom Groups Medical Program Build Out solution will assign our Medical Director to work with your agencies POC to develop medical S.O.P’S and protocols. Our Medical Director will ensure your agencies medical program runs effectively by ensuring the program meets all local state and national requirements/recommendations for medically trained officers.
